Safety 1st

Poor Kay and Russ. We bought the bike two weeks ago but it was tugged in a secret hide out, far from their sight.

Why? cos my hubby insisted on the kids wearing safety helmets. He shared this with me and I agreed with him on the safety standards that we should follow.

They finally get to enjoy their bike after we bought their helmets from Carrefour on Monday.

Power Ranger? Nah! Just the long awaited safety helmet.

Report card on their biking progress:
1st attempt :
Kay needed instruction on how to get on and off the bike, she pedalled backwards (so funny! She looked like she was on an exercise bike). So, I used my hands to guide her feet to pedal and push forward. She managed to move the bike forward.

Russ got on and off the bike without instruction and pedalled forward. Maybe bacause he was watching what Kay was doing. But he was only able to push the pedal around 45 degrees.

2nd attempt :
Improvement shown for both of them. Needed adult assistance to make sure they don’t bump into the wall.

3rd attempt:
Russ is on his own! But he needs adult to help him whenever he bump into the wall.
